Portal collaboration, pervasive, and voice runtime architectures
As part of a nonfunctional requirement to make portal content available to other devices, a pervasive architecture was designed, and IBM Mobile Portal Accelerator was deployed to make this effort agile. The following diagram depicts a generic notation for the pervasive runtime pattern architecture for A2Z Bank portal along with the voice and collaboration components. It shows all the necessary components that will make the requirement to be realized and fulfilled via its implementation. In the voice infrastructure, we have three voice-related components, excluding the CTI telephony components. There is a Voice Server, a Unified Messaging for Voice Response, and the embedded component. This piece of the architecture allows for the CTI telephony infrastructure to route calls to the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system and pass it on to portal's SoftPhone portlet on the portal screen.
