We have discussed the theory behind several aspects of the hybrid cloud at length. This is the last chapter before we go into full blown implementation mode. In this chapter, we will learn a few details about the basic building blocks before we move on to setting up a cloud management platform and the orchestrated container engine.Â
It was fairly clear that a network is essential to the hybrid cloud so therefore, that's where we will start. As we progress through the chapter we will take a look at services such as DNS and Identity and Access Management.Â
While each of the topics described in the chapter deserve a book or more on their own, we are simply looking at the concepts of these systems and at the end, we will architect these services for our hybrid cloud.
