Investigating data with change point detection
As part of AIOps Labs, change point detection helps identify critical moments of change in time series data, which can indicate shifts in patterns or behaviors. It enables early anomaly detection, allowing organizations to respond swiftly to unexpected events or irregularities. Furthermore, it supports data-driven decision-making by providing insights into when and where changes are occurring. In this recipe, we will use change point detection to further explore our Rennes traffic data.
Getting ready
We’ll keep using our Rennes traffic dataset, so make sure to have some data in your cluster. If you don’t, follow the Exploring your data in Discover recipe in Chapter 6.
