What is included in the script?

In many ways, your video will tell a story. And like any good story, it will have some sort of build-up or introduction, a body or the e-learning content, and a conclusion.

The introduction will present a very brief overview statement and objectives for the video. Your e-learning content section will contain instructions or other course content. And the conclusion will provide a brief wrap-up and repetition of how the stated objectives were addressed.

For many of your projects, you will also need commentary or annotations throughout your script. These are directions to the voice-over artist to help create an error-free audio recording.

Commentary and directions

Like a play script or screenplay, you should include helpful hints for yourself or whoever will record the script. They are not to be read aloud. The commentary and directions placed throughout the script will help...
