Managing CC Libraries items
The CC Libraries are powerful resources and little actions such as adding descriptions or viewing item information can often make your life much easier when working with them. Additionally, the ability to search for items by name, filter by different types of assets, or change the sort order of items can make you more efficient and speed up your workflow.
In this recipe, we will look at how to do all of this, as well as group items within a library for organizational purposes, and even move or copy items into a different library.
Getting ready
To complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. Having done this, create a new library, as shown in the Creating, deleting, and renaming libraries recipe at the start of this chapter. I have called mine Brand Assets Library.
