Adding and reusing text via CC Libraries
CC Libraries allows you to reuse text, as well as all the usual text formatting attributes, including styles. This text can then be reused in your documents and can be placed as an independent text element that is not impacted by changes to the library item, or it can be placed as a linked element that is affected by changes made to the library item. Text items in the library can also be reused in Illustrator as well, which is useful when you are working between the two programs.
In this recipe, we will look at adding text to the library both with and without styles applied, reusing that text in a new document, placing it both as a linked and unlinked item, as well as the impact of editing the library item, and placing it with and without styles. We will finish by looking at how to place text inline within an existing text frame.
