Recasting the Spreadsheet

Once a spreadsheet is selected for transformation into corporate data, the owner of the spreadsheet is notified. If the spreadsheet is not in the form of a “standard” spreadsheet or a simple list, then an investment of time is made to recast the spreadsheet into that format.

Remember: it is not absolutely mandatory that a spreadsheet be in standard form. But if a spreadsheet is not in that format, then the costs of processing the spreadsheet escalate.
