Finding and Creating Database Definitions and Values
Once a spreadsheet has been paired with its appropriate ssdef heading definition, the next step is to read the spreadsheet and to create database definitions. The ssdef heading definitions ensure that the column headings can be distinguished from ordinary line items on the spreadsheet. In addition, the ssdef definitions ensure that the correct column names will be appropriate and ready for each value that needs to be processed.
In this step, the spreadsheet is read and each value on the spreadsheet has its context identified. The output from this step is a simple database that lists all the data found on the spreadsheet.
