It's not possible to provide a set of scenarios that capture absolutely every eventuality, so the scenarios we have detailed thus far are just an introduction to the concepts of Scheduling & Routing. I do have a few notes that are worth sharing:
- Remember how useful scheduling is! It's a great way to ensure that data is kept up to date and is available immediately, without any loading wait times.
- You can only apply Schedules to File rules.
- I am not going to show a practical example of a user routing rule. User rules are very similar to group rules and I don't really recommend them, except in very special cases—it's far better to use group rules and administer the members of the groups rather than individual rules for individual users.
- The rule priorities will influence which instance serves a particular request.
