Summary
In this chapter, we went through some heavy artillery for making more complex objects in SketchUp by practicing how to use Follow Me, Autofold, Solid Tools, and Intersect Faces. You learned how to increase both your and SketchUp’s performance by purging the model and saving different versions of a project to Trimble’s cloud service, Trimble Connect.
In the next chapter, we start integrating other drawing files, such as AutoCAD and Revit, with SketchUp. We will also outline the key considerations when working in a SketchUp file someone else created.
