Knowing a management group

It is very important to know the management group details when you get into a new Operations Manager environment. PowerShell provides the Get-SCOMManagementGroup cmdlet to get the details of the infrastructure management group. We can also get the detailed information of the management servers available in our SCOM monitoring environment. We can use this cmdlet with no argument. This cmdlet will return the details of the current monitoring infrastructure, which includes the monitoring management group name and group-related detailed information:
