In this chapter, we looked at the process of using CDP with Veeam Cloud Connect for a Service Provider using VMware Cloud Director. We reviewed the requirements and prerequisites for creating CDP policies and how to direct them to the VCC server.
We also discussed using CDP to protect vApps within VMware Cloud Director from one tenant vCD to another vCD.
Finally, you should understand how Service Providers can now provide an added service for their clients using the instant VM recovery feature. Hopefully, you will better understand how instant VM recovery works for Service Providers.
