MSIX app attach terminology
There are five different MSIX app attach process stages to be aware of:

Stage |
Azure Virtual Desktop notifies the operating system that an application is available. This means the virtual disk containing the MSIX package (also known as the MSIX image) is mounted. |

Register |
MSIX app attach uses a per-user process to make the application available to the user. |

Delayed or deferred registration |
Complete registration of the application is delayed until the user decides to run the application. |
|
Deregistration |
The application is no longer available to you after you sign out. |
|
Destage |
The application is no longer available... |
