Building the Power BI report
Our data stream connector is now ready. Furthermore, we have a working Revit plugin that pushes data from the model to our Power BI workspace. In this section, we will take advantage of the data bridge to build fantastic charts and share them with colleagues and peers. We want to create simple charts that are able to deliver some project insights using real-time data. We can monitor specific aspects of the project files, for example, and collect information from the users who work and interact with those models. We will explore all the required steps to finalize the connection between the Revit plugin and Power BI in the following sections.
Visualizing the data in Power BI
