HTML Templates in WEF

HTML templates in WEF are anything but what you would traditionally think of templates.

Whenever someone reads about HTML templates related to a Web design tool, they quickly associate it with code fragments to be used as base or a starting point for creating HTML pages.

In the WEF world, HTML template is an HTML page containing powerful set of instructions to the Page Automation Engine. These instructions define how to build a final JSP page in your model. In that sense, the information placed on an HTML template page needs to have meaningful value to the Page Automation Engine. It needs to understand how Page Automation will build a page based on such instructions.
