Implementing edge computing with IBM Cloud Satellite
Cloud modernization is a complex problem. Moving workloads to the cloud may not be possible on many occasions. However, having some workloads in the cloud and others on premises, organizations require a hybrid model for integration, operation, and standardization. It is inefficient to have different topologies for monitoring, operations, and development. In addition, the new platform on the cloud needs to be managed alongside workloads on on-premises locations from an integrated and central control pane. Finally, establishing a common standard to monitor, measure, and manage cloud service consumption is a must to manage platforms effectively.
