DIDs

DIDs are virtual keys that protect your online identity. They let you construct and manage your identity without relying on large technology firms or governments. Consider DIDs to be the digital equivalent of your passport or driver’s license. DIDs are your online IDs that you control, much like you have a physical ID that confirms who you are. This is how they work:

Unique and permanent: Consider DIDs to be unique digital identification signatures. A DID is your online fingerprint, just as your name is unique in the real world. It’s a code that you’ll always have, and no one else on Earth will have the same one. Assume you have a secret code to your favorite hideout and that it is unique to you.
