DIDs are virtual keys that protect your online identity. They let you construct and manage your identity without relying on large technology firms or governments. Consider DIDs to be the digital equivalent of your passport or driver’s license. DIDs are your online IDs that you control, much like you have a physical ID that confirms who you are.
