Data culture for everyone
A common definition of data culture revolves around the company’s reliance on truly trusting data for decision-making. Whenever the need to make a decision arises, we should first consult the data, ensuring that every part of the decision is data-driven.
This concept is highly compelling and appealing, drawing many toward companies with a robust data culture. Our own team experience in this realm has been both intriguing and complex.
I recall presenting at the Microsoft Inspire conference, a global partner-oriented event, in Las Vegas in 2019. Among other topics, I discussed the need to bring data culture to everyone and our company’s aspiration to base decisions fully on data value. Our stakeholders and executives encouraged us to embrace and trust the data.
