Introduction
So far we've looked at creating forms more or less in isolation; in this chapter, we'll start to integrate them more into our Joomla! website. There are many cases when it is perfectly good for a form to stand alone on its own web page, and there are others where it needs to work with existing content.
We'll look at two standard ChronoForms tools for embedding forms in a Joomla! page, either within an article or in a Joomla! module. We'll also look at ways to link forms from Joomla! menus, and how to redirect users after a form has been submitted. And lastly, in a slightly different direction, we'll explore how to take the information submitted in a form and redisplay it as a Joomla! article.
Just for clarity, it will help if we start by defining some terminology:
A Joomla! article is a page created or managed through the Site Administrator | Content Menu — these pages are the main content of a typical Joomla! site.
