Analyzing the context of the conflict

Many of the skills and qualities of an effective leader include managing relationships and conflicts by building trust, satisfying concerns, seeking consensus, and by nurturing personal and professional relationships. The thought is that building and maintaining long-term relationships is equally as important as having a successful project result.
