Making diagrams accessible

Our process flowcharts should be accessible to all, and there are a few ways that we can try to achieve this in the web or the desktop version. Desktop Visio has an Accessibility panel that is opened from the Review | Accessibility | Check Accessibility button. This will list some of the errors for missing alternative text (alt text), but it does not address poor contrast between the text and its background, nor does it assess the logical order of tabbing around the pages. So, we may need to do this manually or come up with ways to fix these issues automatically.
