We started by understanding the need for optimization in computer vision and how the OpenVINO toolkit fits this picture. We then went over the various components of the toolkit, understanding the importance of each component. We also saw how easy it is to use OpenVINO with OpenCV. We then saw how pre-trained models can save us a huge amount of money and time. We also discussed how these pre-trained models can be downloaded and used.
