Found the material and illustrations very informative. Great for the beginner as well as a fresh up for intermediate users. Very well broken down so it is not overwhelming. Great study if you are going for your Salesforce Certification. I am also glad that it covers enough of the Automation Tool, Flow Builder. Very important to know when trying to land your first or third Salesforce job.

I was a technical reviewer for this book, and I loved reading it...It has a very good plan structure. I personally find it to be more suitable for SME projects. I also believe that non-beginners will find it an interesting way to improve their knowledge of the essential parts of the Salesforce platform they may not master... So, highly recommended read!

Trailhead is very valuable when learning to navigate the Saleforce Platform, but I think we can all agree that one topic/module can lead to a rabbit hole of links to help articles and other modules or projects. Clicking on help articles can further result to links of several levels, it's so easy to get lost and see a good overview. This book provides that core information, from the basics down to the details with great screen shots of some step-by-step instructions on building out a use case scenario. Definitely a great reference to have on the side for the new admin, or a great resource when learning and preparing for the admin cert exam. This covers also some basics of flows, which is nice, although does not dive deeper into the more advanced concepts of flows (but flows deserve a whole book by itself). There are tips as well as questions to test your understanding and knowledge of the concepts. I also particularly like the topic on sandboxes with some screen shots, which I found valuable because these are not available on trailhead playground nor on dev orgs, but will definitely be in an admin's work responsibility. Maybe the next edition will include Slack and DevOps/Copado. I highly recommend this to those just starting on the Trailhead or in their admin jobs.

Salesforce for Beginners is a fantastic introduction to the functionality and administrative foundation of the Salesforce Platform. The updated version has a fantastic new chapter on Flow, which is the best reference material I have seen on the subject. I HIGHLY recommend this book for new and experienced Salesforce enthusiasts! What is custom duty/charge?
Customs duty are charges levied on goods when they cross international borders. It is a tax that is imposed on imported goods. These duties are charged by special authorities and bodies created by local governments and are meant to protect local industries, economies, and businesses.
Do I have to pay customs charges for the print book order?
The orders shipped to the countries that are listed under EU27 will not bear custom charges. They are paid by Packt as part of the order.
A custom duty or localized taxes may be applicable on the shipment and would be charged by the recipient country outside of the EU27 which should be paid by the customer and these duties are not included in the shipping charges been charged on the order.
How do I know my custom duty charges?
The amount of duty payable varies greatly depending on the imported goods, the country of origin and several other factors like the total invoice amount or dimensions like weight, and other such criteria applicable in your country.
For example:
If you live in Mexico, and the declared value of your ordered items is over $ 50, for you to receive a package, you will have to pay additional import tax of 19% which will be $ 9.50 to the courier service.
Whereas if you live in Turkey, and the declared value of your ordered items is over € 22, for you to receive a package, you will have to pay additional import tax of 18% which will be € 3.96 to the courier service.
How can I cancel my order?
Cancellation Policy for Published Printed Books:
You can cancel any order within 1 hour of placing the order. Simply contact customercare@packt.com with your order details or payment transaction id. If your order has already started the shipment process, we will do our best to stop it. However, if it is already on the way to you then when you receive it, you can contact us at customercare@packt.com using the returns and refund process.
Please understand that Packt Publishing cannot provide refunds or cancel any order except for the cases described in our Return Policy (i.e. Packt Publishing agrees to replace your printed book because it arrives damaged or material defect in book), Packt Publishing will not accept returns.

What tax is charged?
Currently, no tax is charged on the purchase of any print book (subject to change based on the laws and regulations).
