Summary
To summarize this chapter, we have shown how PowerShell can be used to perform a penetration test against various SQL databases. Attention was paid to MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server databases. For each database type, a series of worked examples was used to illustrate various attack vectors.
In the next chapter, we will learn how to use PowerShell to perform a security test against email servers such as Exchange, SMTP, IMAP, and POP.
