This chapter was the first of four that explore Nautobot Apps. We covered an overview of Nautobot Apps, reviewed why you should consider building Nautobot Apps, provided an overview of many of the common open source Nautobot Apps, spent time showing what is possible firsthand, serving as a teaser for the next three chapters, and finally, we showed how you install and uninstall apps.

In the next chapter, we move on from theory and show how you can start building your own Nautobot app by exploring the Nautobot app developer API.
