Describe retention policies and retention labels
As stated in the previous section, a key feature in managing records is the file plan and how we manage the retention and disposition of records. The ability to manage records within Microsoft 365 is accomplished with retention labels and policies. The labels identify and mark documents as records, and the policies then ensure that these records are not disposed of by users before the scope of the policy has been met.
