Summary
The techniques we learned in this chapter will help us to develop and maintain bigger projects. Though enthusiastic users prefer LaTeX also to write small documents, many people learn LaTeX because they plan to write longer texts. However, splitting documents and the use of templates are useful as well for small writings such as letters—just think of header, footer, address fields, and so on.
In this chapter, we dealt with:
Creating and managing large documents consisting of several files
Structuring documents with front matter and back matter
Designing a separate title page
Using, creating, and evaluating templates
Now that we're able to develop and handle large documents, we shall see how to improve them further.
