Migrating a virtual machine into VxRail with vSphere Replication

In this section, we will discuss the migration method of migrating a virtual machine by using vSphere Replication. In Figure 10.1, we can see that there are two vSphere clusters. One is a standard vSphere cluster that is connected to a storage array through two SAN switches. The other is a VxRail cluster with four E560 nodes. Each cluster is managed by a vCenter Server appliance:

Now we will discuss the hardware and software configuration for the scenario. The following table shows the hardware and software configuration in this environment. In this scenario, we will migrate a virtual machine into a VxRail cluster by using a vSphere Replication appliance:
