Teams Templates

Microsoft Teams templates are predefined Teams structures designed around a specific business logic that accelerate the creation of a team, following an organization's predefined conventions for teams and channels.

Each Microsoft Teams template has a set of predefined channels and tabs with applications that will be added to your newly created team. Despite being prebuilt, as a team owner you still have the possibility of defining the name of your team, as well as refining it further by adjusting the original template structure through adding or removing channels and applications.

Teams templates make the life of administrators and end users a lot easier with the automatic creation of channels and tabs; on top of that, they also help in the adoption of the platform, as the creation of a new team from a template doesn't break the momentum that getting an empty team sometimes does.
