Cryptography is a very interesting topic. Having strong fundamentals is really important for individuals who are managing the infrastructure like DevOps, system administrators, and definitely security engineers.
In this chapter, initially, we revised the cryptographic concepts and then began to understand various detailed aspects related to KMS, envelope encryptions, usage of HSTS, and various other parameters for optimizing SSL/TLS configuration in the web server.
With this, we conclude this chapter. In the next chapter, we look into the automation aspect in implementing security configurations.
