Using suggesters


Starting from Elasticsearch 0.90, we've got the ability to use the so-called suggesters. We can define a suggester as a functionality that allows us to correct a user's spelling mistakes and build an autocomplete functionality, keeping the performance in mind. This section will introduce the world of suggesters to you; however, it is not a comprehensive guide. Describing all the details about suggesters will be very broad and is out of the scope of this book.
