Starting the transition
After all the research, analysis, and finishing the prerequisite steps, you will have the strategy in place for which customer side to expand, the offering to focus on, and how to motivate the users. The marketing team will start their research by captivating the market share of the new user group, experimenting with different communications, and beginning to create initial awareness about the platform approach.
In this stage, product managers, along with other team members and product stakeholders, will start planning the features and capabilities. This is the introduction phase of the product life cycle that consists of development and launch, but it will be different from the brand-new platform. You will have an established brand, existing users, analytics data from the existing business, and expertise in the domain.
