Genomics Data Analysis

Genomics gained mainstream attention when the Human Genome Project published the complete sequence of the human genome in 2003. Over the last decade, genomics has become the backbone of drug discovery, targeted therapeutics, disease diagnosis, and precision medicine, leading to the chances of successful clinical trials. For example, in 2021, over 33% of FDA-approved new drug approvals were personalized medicines, a trend that sustained for the past five years (https://www.foley.com/en/insights/publications/2022/03/personalized-medicine-2021-fda-guideposts-progress).
