The TiWS module

TiWS is a native extension module used for creating native web sockets and was developed by a gentleman named Jordi Domenec. It is possible to use it with Socket.IO and other popular libraries. This is the reason why it was chosen in Chapter 7, JRPG – Second to Last Fantasy Online, for the part that dealt with communication. It can be downloaded from the Appcelerator Marketplace. Some of the downloadable files are given in the following table:
