Designing a user-friendly layout
It is important to organize the layout of the Leads page so that it is easy to follow, logical, and intuitive.
One of the techniques that will really assist with this is to utilize sections. We may rename, add, and create our own sections as required. Using layout rules, which we will cover later in the chapter, we can choose to show or hide a section based on the values of the fields we have selected.
In Figure 2.7 and Figure 2.8, you will see how we have grouped the fields into sections – with ideally no more than 10-12 fields in each one. Fields can be dragged and dropped within the layout.
The fields are grouped within sections with a name that describes the fields or context. Each section can comprise single or multiple columns and may be positioned in any order that is most logical for your users.
