The Azure Stack Hub cloud operating model mirrors the cloud operating model that underpins the Azure public cloud. Microsoft is the operator of the Azure cloud and provides services to their customers. Microsoft employs a vast number of engineers to maintain and operate this cloud environment. With Azure Stack Hub, the organization that operates the Azure Stack Hub effectively takes on the role of Microsoft.
