WordPress includes the ability to have an unlimited number of users. Each user can be assigned one of five different roles. Let's look at these roles one at a time, starting with the most powerful one.

Administrator
When you installed WordPress, it created a user with administrative powers for you. This role is called administrator, and every WordPress site must have at least one admin (you will not be allowed to delete them all).
