Sculpting finer details
In this section, we will be making use of different sculpting brushes to add finer details to our mushroom model.
Setting up the sculpting workspace
Let's start by making some minor changes to the sculpting workspace:
- Click your model in the 3D Viewport to select it.
- Click the Sculpting tab at the top of the interface to enter the sculpting workspace.
- Let's disable Fast Navigate by clicking the Options dropdown at the top of the sculpting workspace and removing the tick from the box next to Fast Navigate. This will disable a low-resolution preview of the sculpt when orbiting around your model. This option can be enabled again if you are working with a complex sculpting model that causes the viewport to slow down.
