The networking and security team
When you are working for a client whose key focus is data security and where and how the data is transmitted, then the networking and security team’s involvement becomes inevitable. This team’s key responsibility is to guide you concerning data handling, credentialing, and network-related requirements. Let’s see the activities in which you will need help and guidance from this team. Some of the activities are listed here:
- Static IP for the bot: IP addresses are of two types: static and dynamic. As the name suggests, oftentimes, there is a requirement to have a static IP address for the bots. The reason is more security and better control over which machine is allowed to access what. Unless the bot machine is assigned a static IP address, it can’t be whitelisted. Whitelisting means allowing access to some specific resources, services, or applications.
