Bookkeeping Checklists
When it comes to preparing accounts for a company, there can be lots to do, and very often many other things are going on at the same time. It's generally a good idea to compile a list of what you need to review and reconcile.
This saves the heartache of thinking that everything is completed and ready to go and then realizing something has been missed.
The tables shown next contain some examples of what should be reviewed at the end of a financial period. As you complete your review and reconciliation, you could add appropriate notes if necessary.
If these checklists are saved, when it comes to the next period to review, they can help remind you of why certain adjustments were made previously.
