Linking reports
Linking a report to another report or to a page can provide a very big added value to a report. It allows for a deeper integration with the Role Tailored client and also other applications your customer might be using. Instead of them having to search for related information the report will be connected to all related information, independently where it is stored. Adding links in enhanced reports is very easy and is available on report items and in data regions. You could for example also make a link between the report and a SharePoint environment. This allows for the creation of connected dashboards.
When you add a link to a text box, image, or chart element, you can specify one of two types of links:
A link to a URL provides a link to a web page, typically outside the report
A bookmark link provides a link to a bookmark, or anchor, within the current report
