Technical requirements

For the Physical servers and virtualization section, you will need a Windows OS running with the supported hardware listed throughout to set up Hyper-V. You will also need access to an Azure subscription to set up a virtual machine (VM) within Azure. To do this, go to https://portal.azure.com/.

For the remainder of this chapter, each section will have baseline requirements needed to turn on specific hardware-based security features and will include links for further reference.
