Playing safe with the Broadcast Safe effect
Firstly, this is something that will only be useful if your movie will be broadcast on TV. For television, there are two main video formats:
National Television Standards Committee (NTSC)
Phase Alternating Line (PAL)
The countries that use the PAL system are North America, Japan, and South Korea, and the NTSC is used in most of Europe, Australia, and large parts of Asia and Africa. This is the reason why some DVDs from Europe may not play in North America.
Did you notice that Lumion has everything? Yes, Lumion has an effect that can safeguard you in case you need to export the movie in the NTSC or PAL format.
The Broadcast Safe effect for some reason is found under the Artistic tab, and once we apply this effect, there are two options:
NTSC: Here, you need to use 30 frames per second
PAL: Here, you need to use 25 frames per second
