Summary
In this chapter, we have learned about 5G and satellite communication. We looked at use cases that are enabled by network slicing. After an introduction to satellite communication, we learned why it is needed in the context of 5G networks. Finally, we learned about its architecture and use cases.
In the upcoming chapter, we will introduce automation, orchestration, and testing in the context of 5G networks. We will learn that automation and orchestration often go together. We will also learn how to manage large-scale 5G networks using automatic scale-in and scale-out, when applicable. Finally, we will learn about automating failure recovery.
