Configuring your institution's settings
Now that we've looked at our Institution's Members and their settings let's move on to configuring the settings for the institution. To find your Institutional Settings, click Manage Institutions on the main menu. You will find yourself, by default, on the Settings page, which looks something as follows:
Firstly, you can edit your Institution's display name here to another name if you prefer to.
You can set an Institution expiry date here if you wish to. You might do this if, for example, you have set up a short-term institution for a particular conference event or for an event on your social calendar.
You may be interested to see the checkbox option asking if you wish to set Registration allowed? If you set this, you are allowing users to register themselves as a member of your institution using a registration form. This option is wisely left unchecked by default. Most people will prefer to decide for themselves who becomes a member of their institution...
