The CI/CD principles

To implement a CI/CD pipeline, it is important to know the different elements that will be required to build an efficient and safe pipeline. In order to understand the principles of CI/CD, the following diagram shows the different steps of a CI/CD workflow, which we already saw in Chapter 1, DevOps Culture and Practices:
