Adding remote meetings to Outlook
Remote meeting tools are available as add-ins if you have access to Microsoft 365 and your business supports a meeting platform, such as Teams or Zoom. The primary user must ensure that at least one Exchange mailbox has been set up in their Outlook profile to schedule Teams meetings or Zoom meetings using the add-in (the client needs to have Exchange set up in the background).

We can also create remote meetings using the Zoom and Teams platforms directly. For instance, Zoom meetings can be scheduled using the Zoom website or the Zoom app instead. Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) or Post Office Protocol (POP3) email accounts can schedule meetings using the Outlook web app. A Gmail address would be an example of an IMAP account.
