Organize and categorize sites with hub sites
A hub site serves as a central point for connecting related sites together, providing common context for news, content pages, and search, and providing consistent navigation and themes across sites. A hub site can be registered for a specific function, such as human resources or for a department or region, as well as, for example, creating a hub for all project sites. The most important thing is that the hub site and connected sites share a common context and that it’s clear to the users. Nowadays, it’s quite common to register an intranet landing site as a hub and other sites with it.
Important note
The maximum number of hub sites is 100 per Microsoft 365 tenant. In the hub site settings, hub owners can pick a logo for the hub and change the hub name and then the name will be visible on the navigation.
