In this chapter, we dived deep into the development of cloud native architectures, using microservices and serverless computing as a design principle. We were able to learn the difference between SOAs and microservices, what serverless computing is and how it fits into a cloud native architecture. We learned that each of the mature cloud vendors has a unique set of frameworks and approaches that can be used to design scalable architectures on those platforms. The next chapter will help you learn the technique of effectively choosing a technology stack.
