The Green Flag
The technique revealed itself to be very successful. After the first month and a half, our system was already in great shape. The business stakeholders couldn't believe their eyes. Finally, after years, something was deployed that actually worked, and it steadily grew, feature after feature, and without defects. After a few more months (in record times by the standard of the old team), we had successfully implemented the whole backlog we were in charge of.
A few weeks later, the news no one would have bet a dime on arrived: the project had been green flagged. We had ensured the budget for the whole team to be available for another year. We made possible what a few months before seemed impossible.
